Dr. Carlos R. Salaverria
Pastor Carlos currently serves as the Senior Pastor at Waters Edge Bible Church. He has a Doctoral degree in theology, a Master of Arts Degree in religious education from Faith Bible Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pastoral studies with a minor in public speaking from Bob Jones University. He is currently in the process of completing the requirements to become an ACBC certified Biblical Counselor (www.biblicalcounseling.com).
Pastor Carlos trusted Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of 13 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Since that time, he has served in various capacities in ministry such as Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, Missions Pastor, Church Planting Pastor, and Senior Pastor. He is the Founder of Souls Outreach Worldwide Ministries International (SOWMI) which is an non-profit ministry that provides training to equip pastors and lay leaders about the sovereignty of God and the inerrancy of the Scriptures. He also serves as a missionary for Oversees Instruction in Counseling. Pastor Carlos is married to Sannet and together they have three children and eight grandchildren. In his spare time, he likes fishing and wood working.
Dr. Charles J. Aaron
Pastor Chuck currently serves as Discipleship Pastor at Waters Edge Bible Church. He has undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Computer Science, and Bible. He has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree. He also holds a Doctor of Science degree in Management Information Systems.
Pastor Chuck trusted Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of 26 in Roanoke, VA. Since 1980, he has served as a Bible Teacher in various churches and institutions. He taught New Testament, Old Testament, and Theology for Colonial Bible Institute Liberty University for six years. The last three years at the Bible Institute, he also served as Dean. He has served as Director of the Biblical Counseling Ministry for two different churches. He also serves as Director of Grace Biblical Counseling Ministries at Waters Edge Bible Church. As an ACBC Certified Biblical Counselor, he not only provides Lead Biblical counseling, but he is also instrumental in training how to counsel/disciple others. He is a board member for the nonprofit ministry of SOWMI and also serves as a missionary and biblical counseling coordinator/trainer for BCM Worldwide. Pastor Chuck is married to Dianna and together they have six children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys ocean fishing and writing Biblical Instruction articles.
